PPOC-BC 2015 awards

The Professional Photographers of Canada British Columbia had their 2015 salon this past weekend. All members are invited to submit up to four images each year and a panel of judges classify the submissions as being "not accepted" into the show, "accepted" into the show where the images meet the qualifications of the PPOC-BC as professional images, "merit" images and those of "excellence". I had the highest scoring images with three merit images and one excellence.

Reining: the Slide, was entered in the editorial category and received a Merit. It is of Clay Webster during a reining demonstration. It was my first night using my new D4 and a 200 F2 lens. The capture was at F2, 1/200 second and 2,800 ISO. I was really excited to have the ability to shoot action in a very dark arena.
