Gold & Best in Show at VIPF

The 3d annual Vancouver International Photography Festival is being held this weekend and today I was presented with the CAPA (Canadian Association of the Photographic Arts) Gold Medal as well as the OEC Best of Show Award for my image, Identity. The photographs are amazing and I loved John Fong's Jumping Salmon, Min Jen Wang's Smoke Artillery and Michele Broadfoot's Lights and Rainy Nights.

And how cool is this, my photo made the front page of the paper! (I had a couple people coming up and saying they saw my photo on the front page and I was wondering how I missed it!!)
